Shawdesh desk: Expressing his firm confidence about his victory in the mayoral election, Awami League nominated mayoral candidate for Dhaka South City Corporation election Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said he is ready to accept whatever the verdict comes.

“I’m confident about my victory in the election. The people of Dhaka have accepted us very much for getting a better city,” he told reporters on Saturday after casting his vote at Dhanmondi Kamrunnessa Govt Girls’ High School around 8:30 am in the capital.

Taposh also expressed satisfaction over casting his vote through Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) as it is modern and easy method.
“For the first time, I cast vote through EVM. It is modern and easy process. It takes a little time to cast vote. Everybody can cast their vote smoothly through the process,” he said.
